Hello, Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have read your question fully and understand your concerns. Carbimizole is given to reduce the levels of thyroid hormones -T3, T4. Sometimes, the carbimizole dose would become too high for a patient and it would then result in overtreatment, causing a decrease in the level of thyroid hormones, leading to hypothyroidism. This normally occurs when Thyroid function tests are not periodically done, as the dose of carbimizole needs to be titrated against the TSH level. If the TSH level is increasing, the dose needs to be reduced. I suspect you have been over treated with carbimizole. All your symptoms point towards hypothyroidism. I would advise you to get your Thyroid function tests done first and see your doctor if they are abnormal. If your thyroid test results are normal, then you may need to see your doctor for further evaluation of your symptoms. Kidney problems, anemia, low calcium and vitamin-D levels can also cause similar symptoms. You may need further blood tests like a complete blood picture/full blood count, serum urea and creatinine to rule out kidney disease, serum calcium, serum phosphate levels, vitamin-D levels, blood glucose etc. I hope this answer has helped you.
