Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your actual tiredness and sleepiness can be due to hypothyroidism.
You are not so old and you mention that you are very active,so it is necessary to do some blood works to clarifie your situation. I suggest to do a complete blood count to check for anemia and the thyroid tests:TSH,fT3 and fT4 to see if you have any thyroid disorder that can explain your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
