What Causes Tiredness And Heavy Feeling On Legs?

My 50 year old husband has been experiencing tired, heavy feeling in his legs and says that when he has this feeling in his legs he also feels sleepy to the point where he HAS to go to sleep. Can you explain what he may be experiencing as I am concerned that this may be heart related.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Heart related complaint would include breathlessness and chest pain so do not be stressed. It's better to get heart excluded by a cardiologists consultation rather getting and giving tension. I feel his problem would be either calcium and vitamin D deficiency OR neurogenic in nature. It can be sorted out with few investigations. Consult a physician / neuro physician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
