Hi dear. Thanks for trusting HealthCareMagic. I have understood your questions. I hope you're in good condition now. may I know what happen to you therefore you're prescribed Lupron injection? did you use another medication or supplement which may have interaction with lupron?
Firstly, Lupron injection contains Leuprolide acetate, is a synthetic
gonadotropin-releasing hormone used in men to treat symptoms of
prostate cancer, and in women to treat symptoms of
endometriosis (overgrowth of uterine lining outside of the uterus) or
uterine fibroid. Lupron may be given once every month or once every 3 to 6 months. How often you receive this medication will depend on the condition being treated, also sex and age. it's injected under the skin or into a muscle.
the side effect of using Lupron injection are hot flashes (57%), cardiovascular changes (19%), fatigue (18%), asthenia/
muscle weakness (10%), headache (7%), bone pain (5%), dizziness/
lightheadedness (5%), myalgia/muscle pain (3%). the other minor effects are tiredness, itching, nausea, diarrhea and many more. the more dosage you take, the more side effects you have.
to be your concerns, your symptoms may become temporarily worse as your hormones adjust when you first start using this medication. keep using the medication as instructed by your doctor. Your condition should eventually improve with continued use of Lupron. While using this medicine, you may need frequent blood tests (blood sugar, calcium, electrolytes, and sex hormones). Leuprolide can have long lasting effects on your body and you may also need medical tests for a short time after you stop using this medicine.
please call your local doctor if you have a serious side effect such as:
-allergic reactions (severe hives, swelling at face and throat, difficult to breath)
- musculoskeletal problems: bone pain, difficult to move body,
- neurovascular problems: sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body), problems with speech or balance, sudden headache with vision problems, vomiting, confusion, slow heart rate, weak pulse, fainting, or slow breathing.

the signs and symptoms above may shows us an emergency condition.
