What Causes Tiredness And Aphasia After Keppra And Wellburtin Withdrawal?
I just weened off of Keppra and Wellibuturin. My dosage started at 1000 mg a day with keppra. The anti-depressant was 150mg to 300mg then scaled back after coming off of the keppra..... I feel sluggish and when I m conversing I find myself grabbing for words sort of a lazy brain like when I first had my stroke. Especially if I m tired which is often. Is this normal for coming off of these drugs?

As per my clinical experience, Wellbutrin contains Bupropion which is widely used anti depressant molecule by various clinicians with best results and outputs. The tiredness and laziness indicate withdrawal effects of the Bupropion and takes around a period of couple of weeks to settle down.
Following measures will help you to tackle the issue in better way:
- Drink more liquids
- Have time spent for aerobics
- Regular walking, meditations, YOGA
- Balanced nutritious diet
- Avoid smoking, alcohol or use of any other recreational drugs if any
Remain in regular follow up with your consultant for better guidelines of cure and management.
