What Causes Tiny Worms In The Stool?

My granddaughter is 9 she went to bathroom .she tried to poop and done just a dab it looked kind of stringy .it didnt look like BM..When she wiped on the paper it looked like there was 6 little white worms. They were about1/4 inch long maybe a little bit littler .She said they moved but I m not for sure if they did. I was wondering if this sounds like Tapeworms.

If I am your doctor I advice you to give him a Albendazole tablet 400 mg single dose at night time. This single dose regimen clears her from the infection. As per your symptoms it is obvious that it is not tape worm. Tape worm or Tenia saginata or soleum is very big worm only its fragments comes out of the body which is square in shape. The observed worm in the stool of your parents is slender so the possibility of tape worm is ignored.
