What Causes Tinnitus Along With Redness On Tongue?

I have ringing in my ears, my tongue is red and sore on the tip and edges, and now I have a small lump in the center of my tongue that is tender. Could this be an allergic reaction to something? The ringing in my ears comes and goes, but the tongue issue has been happening for over a year.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Ringing in the ears is not normally a symptom related to allergies.

This is known as tinnitus and some of the possible causes are infection, trauma, hearing loss, meniere's disease, side effect of medication, excess ear wax, anemia, mass in ear.
You may want to consider assessment by an ENT specialist to determine the exact cause.

Anemia can cause a change in the surface of the tongue as well.

I hope this helps
