What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Arms?

Hi, I m 55 and was a long distance runner in my earlier years. I have a resting heart rate of 37 bpm (used to be 48) and have been periodically waking at night with tingling in my arms/falling asleep. Curious to learn if these two issues can be symptomatic of something greater. My colesterol is high at 280 and I have early signs of RA.

Tingling in hands , feet or both is a common and bothersome symptom. It could result from Pressure on nerves when your arm is crooked under the head as you fall asleep.

Traumatic injuries or Repetitive stress injuries,
Bacterial or Viral infections, toxic exposures and systemic diseases like Diabetes can cause this.

Diabetes is one of the most common causes for Peripheral Neuropathy
Neve entrapment Syndromes
Kidney diseases, liver disorders, Vascular disoders, Alcoholism Vitamin Deficiencies are other causes

Vitamin Supplements
