What Causes Tingling Sensation And Swelling On The Toes?

I stepped on my foot wrong and twisted it as I was walking down stairs. Immediate pain which subsided in about 5 minutes. No pain for several hours. Then, after standing for about an hour, I started to experience foot pain. Pain has continued to worsen. I now have it elevated and iced. It is very painful particularly across the top, near ankle, to the inside arch. I cannot put pressure on it. It has very limited mobility. My toes are starting to tingle. There is very little swelling. Should I see a doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi dear..can understand the concern. I advise you as follow
1) Use tab Hifenac TH and ibuprofen for pain and swelling
2) Elevate the feet and apply ice, and avoid movment of the feet
3) Elastic crap bandage will help
4) get the foot examined once by X ray to check for the internal damage.
hope this will help you
