Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tingling Sensation And Swelling In The Feet?
My husband has had a hard time walking all day. His feet feel like he is stepping on needles and pins. His feet and lower legs are swollen. He has low back pain. He does have an urinary track infection from prostate surgery 2 months ago. His upper right thigh is numb. He is supposed to get 4 stents put in in one week and possible bypass heart surgery. Should we go to the emergency room?
I think yes, you should send him to ER as soon as possible. I think he might be having a back issue, however taking into account his prostate surgery 2 months back, we should rule out possible blood vessels blockage.
Plus should rule out any recent cardiovascular accident as he is scheduled for possible bypass heart surgery.
So, better check immediately to rest assured.
Wish fast recovery. Dr.Albana Sejdini
