What Causes Tingling Sensation And Red Dots On The Body?

Every time I go outside I get a tingling feeling all over my body within 10-15 minutes. Then I start noticing small red dots that start on my forearms, then spread to my neck, chest, etc. I get itchy, short of breath, etc. I get this same rash when I am in the shower at home. Could this be a combination of heat/mold allergy? I have given up so much of my social life because of this problem; I stayed indoors during the fireworks for the fourth of July, I can t do cook-outs or pool parties anymore. Life is kinda sucky right now. Can you help?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to a heat allergy.

I suggest using Calamine lotion for local application.

I also suggest using Cetirizine 10 mg daily to relieve the symptoms.

Cool showers can also be very helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
