What Causes Tingling Sensation And Pain In Arm After Having Injection ?

I had my blood taken and they left the needle in, I bent my arm because they didn t tell me. It hurt a lot, but now (nearly two weeks later) my arm feels weird, a pain by my elbow and tingleing in my hand every now and again, with pins and needles. I m scared that I may have caused it when I bent my arm.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
If there is persistent pain in the elbow in the needle prick area associated with swelling and abscess formation, you have to immediately report it to your treating physician who will examine the affected part and if he feels that there may be left over needle he will remove it.
usually thrombophlebitis or inflammation of the veins may cause such symptoms. nothing to worry then you can apply ice and ointments such as thrombophob in the affected part.
hope this explains in detail
