What Causes Tingling Sensation After Taking Diflucan?

I am currently getting over a yeast infection and I ve been to the walk in clinic cause it was red, really swollen, sore, itchy and it burned. The doctor gave me Diflucin which has been working very well so all of my symptoms are almost gone. But since the swelling has gone down can that make my vagina tingle?? Is that normal? I also had a swollen gland from the yeast infection but the doctor said that my infection was so bad that it caused my swollen gland. Should I get checked by the gyno still?

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Tingling sensation could be caused by the yeast infection your Doctor is treating.Diflucan is well indicated in such infections. All i will say is that since you have had some improvement at least, healing will be progressive.Just continue with your drugs as prescribed. You may not need to see a Gynecologist.Just see your Doctor for reevaluation. If the opinion of the Gynecologist is needed, he will not hesitate to ask.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
