Hello, Osteoarthritis and spondylosis of the dorsal spine are anatomically inconsistent with any type of changes in sensation of the face as you describe. I recommend you have that looked at by a neurologist as soon as possible. If the symptoms return you should head to an ER because you may suffer from a stroke which could have devastating consequences. There are other less catastrophic causes of those symptoms but you do not want to miss the opportunity of diagnosing something that can be very critical so you must go to the ER the next time this happens.
