What Causes Tingling In Hands And Back Pain At The Shoulders?

Hi I have had anxiety attacks before but today it felt different. I had warm tingling sensation from my head to my toes and my mouth felt weird. My back hurt from shoulder to shoulder accross my upper back and this lasted for three hours. I am on cipralex but lately it doesnt feel like its working. I have heard u can women can have heart attacks and not even know it. can this be a symptom? I am 5'6, 185 lbs and 40 years of age.

Hi.

Tingling and numbness has many cause.

It can be due to anxiety or it can be due to vitamin deficiency.

Chances of heart attack is very less in female as compare to male.

Detail heart work up is necessary regularly to prevent it.

Consult physician for heart related issues.

For anxiety it can be treated with medicines like SSRI and benzodiazapine.

Anxiolytic will help.

Vitamin supplement with proper healthy diet can help in tingling.

Treatment of anxiety can reduce tingling and numbness.
