What Causes Tingling In Hand After Blood Is Drawn?

My 20 year old daughter, who lives in another town, had blood work drawn last Wednesday and came back with bruising which I understand can be quite normal but she has also been complaining of tingling in her hand and fingers. We are advising her to reach out to the doctor s office in the morning but wondered if there is any reason to suggest she go to urgent care tonight. Thanks in advance.

Hi
Tingling could be caused by simple irritation of peripheral nerves which could have happened during the procedure.
It's not a serious issue and need not be worried as long as her hand movements as well as other sensations are fully intact. However if this is not the case I suggest you to goto hospital immediately.
Hope this helps :)
Dr Philip
