What Causes Tingling At The Tip Of Penis?

I have a tingling feeling at the tip of my penis. Currently, I am going through a prostate issue. Biopsy was done 4 days ago. Prior to that I had prostate infection and currently i am on antibiotics doxycycline (10mg twice a day). My prostate was severely enlarged, pushing into bladder. Should be worried to see a doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
I think you have mild lower urinary tract infection that cause tingling sensation. As you told you have prostate enlargement that cause incomplete urination and some residual urine remain in bladder and that increase the chance of infection.
Yes definitely you have to consult the urologist for treatment of enlarged prostate. DO the urine routine, microscopic and culture to rule out urinary tract infections.
Doctor may give following treatment:
Tablet septran with nitozolium, tablet pyridium
Tamsulosin and hormonal therapy for prostate problem.
Drink plenty of water, drink juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple.
Maintain the proper pelvic hygiene.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
