What Causes Tingling And Numbness In Hands?

I have tingling and numbness in both hands off and on during the day but is relentless at night when lying down.... I have it right now just typing this note..... I had a an MRI .. cervical and lumbar.. both negative.. I am 60 yrs old and am active at work, sports and gym.... what tests can I get to pin point where this is coming from... its been over a year and seems to be getting worse....

I really appreciate your concern this could be cervical disc compression I would advise to wear the cervical collar for this it will get alright initially the numbness may increase with the collar but later this will be fine, hope this information helps you have good day.
