Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per you complain tightness of throat and bitter taste in mouth is due to Gastr-oesophageal reflux disease in which the acid from the stomach regurgitates into the mouth leading to chemical injury to the throat and mouth and it can lead to burning in chest, throat and feeling of tightness and discomfort in swallowing in throat and bitter taste in mouth due to the acid..
Tamsulosin is used to improve urination in patients (men) with prostate gland enlargement.
It is not seem to cause any digestive issues and
acid reflux due to due to tamsulosin is not caused..
I would therefore suggest you to
consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and he can prescribbe you with
Proton pump inhibitors like
Pantoprazole, Omeprazole ,
Rabeprazole and antacids etc to treat your acid reflux problems..
You should also avoid spicy foods to prevent burning sensation due to reflux..
Drink plenty of water as it keeps you hydrated as well as dilute the acid produced in stomach..
Hope this information helps..
