What Causes Tightness In Chest While On Treatment For Bacterial Infection?
Hi i was taken into The E.R on 6th July &told by a Pulmonary specialist that i had acute Bronchitis due to a bacterial infection. I was admitted &had 24 hour I.V Antibiotics and Steroids.I was discharged the next day.A week later i was put on a rescue inhaler &salbuterol by a pulmonary nurse who told me i had bronchial Asthma.The treatment still didn't work i called the clinic &was told by the same nurse that i had Emphysema and was having a ''flare-up''i aws given 10 more days of Antibiotics $ a nebulizer.I still feel tight chested &tomorrow i go for a P.F.Ti really feel annoyed,confused and really frightened as i did smoke years ago &quit but feel like i have a death sentence.I noticed all my problems started about 2 months after i started using a tanning bed..which i have now stopped,can you help
