What Causes Tightness In Chest And Increased Heartbeat?
Hi I ve got a tightness in my chest and sometimes a bubbling sensation with it, my heart races and I feel like I m going to faint. I do suffer from panic attacks and have for years. I am not sure whether to be concerned or whether it is my anxiety. I have felt like this for about 4 days. I ve still done all my normal activities and I m not in pain just this burning sensation in the middle of my chest. Thx

Chest tightness with fast heart beat need proper evaluation.
It may be due to coronary heart disease,reflux,psychogenic etc.
You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,thyroid profile,liver function test,renal function test,lipid profile,urine RE/ME,ultrasound of abdomen,TMT,ECG in all leads,ECHO.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
