General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Acid reflux also can lead burning chest sensation. But you can be investigated with 2D echocardiography for better check-up of cardiac status. If echocardiography is normal then no need to worry about cardiac condition. But if specific cardiac cause found then accordingly treatment is planned. If you are having panic attack history by anxiety induce then also same problem can occur.

For gastritis or acid reflux, Rabeprazole can be prescribed. Consult a physician for examination and further work-up accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
