Well, lastnight I woke up in the middle of the night with my left big toe throbbing so bad again. It has happened 3 or 4 times in the past few months. It is on the tip of my toe, it only happens at night. I don t think it s gout because of the location of it. Also, it is not an ingrown toenail or hammer toe. It is so intense that it wakes me up. It lasts off and on for about an hour and then goes completely away. I think I am having a dream until my brain comes to, then I definitely know that I am not dreaming. This morning I saw a red spot in the exact same place that was hurting so bad and it was on the tip of my toe, not the base. It was smaller than a penail eraser. It went away earlier this evening. There are no marks whatsoever. Do you have any ideas?
