What Causes Throbbing Sensation Along With Pain In Teeth?

Ever since I had a full mouth set of ex ray I don t remember how many but in the teens or 20 something my teeth have been Very sensitive . I always drink ice water it never bothered Me before. Now my teeth and gums bother when I drink ice water or hot or even eat, even doing nothing at all. They said I have no cavities. I told the hygienist about it when I went in to hAve my teeth cleaned. I never had this problem before at it goes from throbING discomfort to very painfull. What is your opinion and what can I do about it, I switched to Sensory new tooth paste and switch with Act 2 mouth wash.

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you have generalized sensitivity of teeth that can be due to Dentinal Hypersensitivity..
Dentinal Hypersensitivity leads to opening up of the nerve endings present over the teeth due to loss of tooth minerals and irritation of nerves causes sensitivity and throbbing..
I would suggest you to limit the intake of extremely hot and cold foods..
Use desensitizing toothpastes over the teeth, you can apply and leave for a few seconds and then brush your teeth with same toothpaste..
Use for 15 days and observe the improvement..
In case if there is improvement you can discontinue the use of desensitizing toothpaste for ten days and continue again for 15 days..
In case of no improvement consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
