What Causes Throat Ache Upon Swallowing Food?
Have had a cold for 8 days. Beginning to subside, when today my lymph nodes, throat at larnyx and where tonsils used to be are stinging and hurting while swallowing. Achy when not swallowing. Feels like I am fighting a bug all over again. Could it be something besides the cold I had?? I work in skilled care and a cold with cough is going around.

It can be pharyngitis, tonsillitis. Start warm saline gurgling as such it is self-limiting. Take vitamin c daily. Get checked by ENT doctor for examination and advise on treatment. Take semisolid balanced diet fresh fruits and vegetable.
