What Causes Thick Yellow Saliva From A Infants Mouth?


Hi!my wife just gave birth on jan.1,this new year.our baby is producing saliva with yellowish,thick form of liquid.so thedoctor told us our baby must stay in the hospital for further test.then they told us that our baby have an infection.yesterday they do an ultrasound and its ok.but later on they called us that our baby have blood in her saliva,and stool.so now they're giving her two kinds of antibiotics,yet they still dont know what's causing it.is this common to a new born baby?and what's causing the bleeding?is it dangerous?thank you so much.Leo
