Hi,

Thick green mucus in the nose usually shows a bacterial infection or sinusitis. Sinusitis is an inflammation or swelling of the sinuses, which are air-filled cavities in the skull. The sinuses produce mucus, which normally drains out through the nose. However, when the sinuses become blocked due to swelling or infection, mucus can build up and become thick and discolored.

The medications you are taking are commonly used to treat sinusitis. Otrinoz drops contain xylometazoline, a nasal decongestant that helps reduce swelling in the sinuses and clear mucus. Montelukast sodium is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that can help reduce sinuses inflammation. Zedocef CV 200 is an antibiotic that can be used to treat bacterial infections.

It is important to follow your doctor's instructions and complete the full course of antibiotics if prescribed. In addition to medication, some home remedies may help to alleviate sinusitis symptoms. These include using a humidifier or steam inhalation, drinking plenty of fluids, and avoiding irritants like cigarette smoke.

If your symptoms do not improve after several days of treatment, or if they worsen, it is important to follow up with your doctor. They may want to perform additional tests or adjust your treatment plan.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
