What Causes Thick And Bloody Nasal Mucus After Tooth Extraction?
21 Years old, 6 ft, 190 lbs. I had my wisdom teeth removed just over a week ago. I have really thick mucus when I blow my nose and it is often dark and bloody. Initially I thought it was renments of blood clotting however it seems to be daily that my mucus is bloody so I am concerned

Increased nasal discharge can occur in allergy and infection.
Blood can occur as a result of either of these due to the inflammation of the nasal passages.
It should resolve with treatment of the underlying condition.
You may want to consider the use of a oral and topical decongestant along with an antihistamine to help reduce your symptoms.
