What Causes The Urge To Pee All The Time?

I had an abortion on May 7th and everything after was healing like it was supposed to. This last Friday I started getting the urge to pee all the time even when I just went and waited to make sure my bladder was empty. I ve always been prone to UTIs, so I went into the clinic, told them my symptoms, no burning or pain, just the discomfort of feeling I had to go, which was making it hard to sleep or be able to feel comfortable. Everything came back normal, she said that I tested negative for a UTI, but because of having the abortion and possibly feeling a UTI come on before it d show up on a test, she gave me antibiotics and the RX for Azo. I typically feel better within a day, or Atleast the urge lessens , but it s still the same, hasn t helped at all. Btw there s no abnormal discharge or smell, I haven t stuck anything inside my vagina or anything since the abortion, and like I said things were just fine until this

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Well if UTI is ruled out then other causes may be considerd. If this is accompanied by pain or discomfort in the bladder or urinary tract thrn iz may be kidneys stone as a cause, but generally urinary tract infections are the most common cause of this- Other causes include: drinking too much liquid, drinking caffeinated or alcoholic beverages, diabetes, pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, when there is pressure on the bladder medications, vaginal infections . It’s possible that frequent or urgent urination could be normal for you if you don’t have other symptoms. The treatment plan for frequent or urgent urination is largely dependent on the cause. Antibiotics can help treat infections. Lifestyle changes such as monitoring liquid consumption and urine output or adjusting medications can help some people and in severe cases surgery may be required.
