What Causes The Testicles To Shift Sideways?

i was sitting on the floor and when i got up i noticed that my right testicle was resting awkwardly in a sideways position. i waited for the testicle to go back into its normal position on its own rather than forcefully move it. i felt slightly numb on that side for a few seconds but not anymore and also felt slightly dizzy for a few seconds but that has also gone. there is no pain and doesn't appear to be swelling or any change in colour either. but can you please help?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history of horizontally placed testis and getting fainting on manipulating .
This was due to the vaso-vagal reaction, the vagus nerve gets stimulated.
Nothing great to worry about.
This is rotation of the testis mostly sue to ''clapper-bell '' phenomenon.
If this is repeated, the testis needs to be fixed, a simple small surgery of single stitch or placement in the pouch created surgically.
And this is curative.
