What Causes The Legs To Feel So Heavy For A 25 Year Old Diabetes Patient?
Hi, I am a 25 year old woman suffering from type 1 diabetes. Recently during the middle of the night I got up to visit the bathroom and my legs went from under me. I got up and the same thing happened again. I could not get up for 2 minutes or so after. Also im noticing that when I get up during the night that my legs feel very heavy. What could be the cause of this?

i think it sounds like neuropathy. There is a variety of medications that can help relieve the burning etc. I recommend speaking to your diabetic team.
