Understanding your concern. As per your query feeling of obstruction in throat could due to granular pharyngitis or upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to avoid eating and drinking acidic , spicy and hot food and beverages . Do warm saline gargles. You should start with combination of anti inflammatory medication along with antibiotic medication. Drink plenty of fluids and take diet rich in multivitamins. If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days then consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and go for swab test. Go for sputum test as well if required and start treatment as per proper diagnosis. Sip warm water after every few minutes.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
