What Causes The Feeling Of Bowels After Heavy Meals?

Hi Doc, I am usually experiencing an urge to go to the toilet after having a heavy meals. Also facing issues like gas during the day. I am usually going to the toilet 3 times a day and if I have a heavy meal/breakfast the count increases to 4 or 5. I am of lean frame(25 year old) and trying to put on some weight as well as getting rid of this embarassing health issues. Can you please guide me.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The history of going for motion after food can be due to:
Intestinal inflammation like appendicitis or diverticulitis.
IBS means irritable bowel syndrome.
I would advise you the following:
Ultrasonography and C T scan of abdomen.
Tests of stool on 3 consecutive days
Tests of blood and urine.
A 5 day course of an antibiotic and Metronidazole with probiotics and antiflatulent treatment should help you.
If CT is showing some positive findings, you may need appropriate treatment or surgery.
