What Causes The Constant Urge To Urinate And Slight Bleeding?

I have felt like I need to pee since 3:00 and when I finally went pee around 6:00 barely anything came out. As the pee came out it felt like I had to pee worse than before, then when I finished it felt like it did before I went. I still feel like I need to pee. I just peed again and more came out then before but when I wiped there was a little blood on the toilet paper. As I stood up I felt like my bladder was full and that I was going to pee right there. I walked to my bathtub and peed. I wanted to see if my urine was bloody without the dilution of the water. Sure enough it was a light pink color. What could this be?

Hi,

Do you have any other symptoms like fever, abdominal pain or nausea? Any similar history or recurring abdominal pain in the past?

Frequent urge to urinate, burning or painful urination and blood in urine can happen in urine infection or urinary stones.

If I were your treating doctor, after examining abdomen, I would have ordered a urine microscopy, and sometimes an ultrasound abdomen too to clinch the diagnosis.

Urine infection need antibiotics while urinary stones are usually removed endoscopically(small ones may pass out spontaneously with good hydration). Kindly discuss with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
