Today I was sitting at my desk typing when all of a sudden I heard a buzzing sound in my right ear like a bee sound I checked to see if a bee or wasp was in my office there was not it lasted about 3 to 5 mins. What could have caused me to hear such a sound it went away but it scared me

Hello, Welcome to HCM, I have reviewed your history as you had ringing sensation in your ear and experiencing for the first time.In medical terminology we call it as tinnitus. This may be due to some problem in the middle ear.I would suggest you to approach the Ear specialist as it requires the expert opinion they have to find out the reason for the sound you heard and then they can suggest proper treatment.Thank you.
