What Causes Testicular Swelling?

I had an abcess 2 weeks ago. I was in the hospital for 5 days and had to have two surgeries. I am home with a cath and go to PT each day for wound care. I started yesterday to begin to feel my testicles were swelling. They are also swollen and hard today. Is there a reason?

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Orchitis with Catheter induced infection with recovering from abscess surgeries.
So the reason is -Bilateral Orchitis caused from Retrograde infection from the Catheter induced infection.
Remedy -
Change of Catheter if need be/Care of Catheter with antibiotic cream
Change of Antibiotics by inj Claforan 1 gm x 2 times x 10 days time would regress the orchitis.
Tab Chymoral fort +Tab Dicloran A +tab Zincovit with plenty of fluids
and high protein bland diet to supplement for early and fast recovery.
