What Causes Testicular Shrinkage And Pain?

Hi Doctor



When i was in my teens i noticed that one of my testicles was smaller and had shrunk



My sex life is normal but i have pain when i touch my testicles



Iam 26 years now



I read in a newspaper abt testical cancer tomorrow i will be visiting a Urologist , right now iam very confused can u please advise me

1.Slight alteration in the testicular size is normal, as their location can be seen like that, normally left is lower that the right.
2.Pain on touch can be caused due to the infective / inflammatory causes.
3.There is nothing in your symptoms and findings suggest cancer so please stop thinking abbot that.
4.If you still want to confirmed once for all - get an ultrasound examination of the testis, it will clear your doubt regarding small size, and cause for the pain.
5.So please visit your doctor and get examined, scanned and treated accordingly. Good luck.
