The symptoms you present could be cause by a series of medical conditions some of which are: respiratory tract infection by a viruses or bacteria, allergy, asthma or environmental irritants.A chest X-ray will be very important to rule out a pneumonia or any other lungs problems. In the meantime, you may take an anti-histamine like aerus, a steroidal antiinflammatory like dexamethasone, an anti-cough agaent like benzonatate.
The following home measures may help you
-Drink enough water
-moisturize air
-Avoid smoke/dust
