Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The pain need to be evaluated through examination. Firstly you need to palpate the breast with your fingers flat inside out clockwise. Then try to palpate for any swelling in armpit/axilla. Do it on both sides. Tenderness can be due to mastitis. Do not fear as not all dwellings are cancerous. Today we have the best treatment available. If you're unsure of your self examination then better visit a surgeon. Till then use paracetamol for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr Suhas Chauhan
