What Causes Tenderness In Cricoid Cartilage And Neck?

i am having extreme tenderness on my cricoid cartiledge and some tenderness in my neck where my submandibular glands are (slightly enlarged) I don not have tonsils. I have had a minimal sore throat for about a month and it does agitate my ears. i have been on two rounds of doxycycline and some nystatin swish and swallow due to sore throat and glossitis. HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the infection and being treated with antibiotic then this is nothing to worry, if the infection does not cured then it need to be managed with higher antibiotic, but better to get done the better clinical examination to confirmed the infection else this is nothing to worry, some time condition may be nonspecific and may not need any treatment, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
