What Causes Temporary Hearing Loss, Fluid And Pressure In Ear?

hello sir.i had a cold and went diving.then took a plan to my home.after two days my ear started to have distortion on louder sound and having hearing loss.i went to ent and he suctioned the fluid ou of my ear and gave antibiotics and i think some kinds of antihistamines.now after one month nothing j has changed and he says my middle ear bone, ossicles are fixated.i have to use sodium fluoride and if it does not work.he has to put a tube in my eardrum for air pressure balance.i am so unhappy.also it seems that sodium fluoride is not useful really and i don t know whether to use it or not.my ossicles are damaged because of diving not aging.also,if my bones are damadge, how putting a tube is gonna help them.are they gonna be more flexible using a tube?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the hearing loss is there then it may be due to the same reason of ossicle bone condition and some time you need to follow the advise given by the ENT surgeon or may go for second opinion, if you have not done the CT imaging then better to get done the CT imaging of head, till then better to continue the antihistamine and best would be "Loratadine" three times in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
