What cause temple swelling, when I start chewing food my temples on forehead start swelling just curious if you explain cause, curve, and is it serious or normal, and I completed my Tb medication as I was misdiagnosed for the first time then I completed 9 months for the second time just giving some additional info if it may help you to

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The swelling in the temple region following chewing can be because of the prominence of the temporalis muscle. This is a normal phenomenon. The other possible cause can be a sialolith in the parotid gland which blocks the flow of salivary secretion which result in swelling near and around the ear region. So consult an oral physicianand get it evaluated. If there is a stone in the salivary gland duct, it has to be removed surgically. Get an ultrasound scan to confirm the diagnosis.
