Hi,

The cracks in vagina and penis after yeast infection is due to itching, inflammation and dryness of the part. Sexual act in infection can increase the crack to cut. Hence, no sex till both the partners are free from infection. Treatment of both sex partners is essential to avoid recurrence.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
