Hello Amanda!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Your symptoms are not related to any TIA.

In my opinion your symptoms may be therapy related adverse effects.

You should know that one of the most known side effects of Keppra is aggressiveness (which could explain your episodes of uncontrolled anger.

The memory problems, the confusional episodes and the speech problems may be related to the three drugs you are taking. Rarely every one of these drugs could cause similar adverse effects.

I recommend consulting with your attending physician for the possibility of decreasing Keppra dosage, even though with your seizure history, a change of therapy would increase the risk of possible seizure exacerbation and even status epilepticus.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best regards,

Dr. Aida
