I have had a sensation in my right side of throat for 6 months. No real pain but a very annoying feeling when I swallow and I have looked at them. My left tonsil is swollen a bit and there looks like something else sticking out from it as it goes down the throat. When i first noticed it i had white tongue and thought I may have had thrush. I tried gargling with just about everything. I took a 7 day worth of amoxicillan and it seemed to clear up the white tongue and it helped a little but the sensation and weird bumpy growth part is still there. I did poke with a qtip and several times some ebry small chunks of white stuff came out of the crevices. I am wondering if this tonsilith stuff can be under the membrane and that is what is sticking out a little or are they only in the crevices? I do not have health insurance and am getting worried because it has been so long. It doesn't seem to have grown at all but of course the internet google has made me paranoid about cancer. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
