What Causes Swollen Tonsils And Patches In Throat While Having Strep Throat?

Strep throat ruled out! I had pain in throat for atleast 4 days with white patches, swollen tonsils, lymph nodes, swollen bleeding gums, fever, body aches headache, body chills, fatigue. Went to the doctor strep throat ruled out. What is wrong with me

Hi, thanks for your query.
In my opinion, you might be having throat infection.
May not be streptococcal bacteria always.
It can also be caused by staph, klebsilla, pseudo monas and other bacteria.
It can treated with penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily. Betadine mouth gargling also can help you better.
Avoid oily and cold items.
