What Causes Swollen Right Arm And Fluid Retention In The Right Lung?
Hi, my friend had been having swelling of his right leg, arm and hand as well as having fluid in his right lung. Since the other day he said he was having cough and colds as well as having cold sweats. He is diabetic and has history of stroke last year in August. He is always having these problems. What could he be having?
The fluid in the right lung can be most likely due to bacterial infection-induced effusion, empyema or others.
The right leg and arm swelling sound systemic issue and thorough physical examination are mandatory to comment for that, empirically can just think about lymphatic obstruction.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
