What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Under The Chin?

I have swollen and tender lymph nodes under my chin/upper neck area. It has only been a couple of days and I feel fine(no fever or recent illnesses) and my throat looks normal. I did get poison ivy for the first time a week ago but not too bad. Can it be connected? How long should I wait to have it checked out if it doesn't go away on its own?
