What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Along With Vomiting And Stomach Pain?

Hi there, I noticed a few days ago that my lymph node under my chin had become a little bit swollen and sore which was odd because I didn t have any kind of illness it kind of just popped up out of left field and it started to worry me but my wife told me not to worry about it things like this happen all of the time which I know is true. I tend to over react I m one of those people who always assume the worst, ok so I decided to listen to my wife and it started to get smaller but then today when I woke up I felt fine but I noticed that my lymph nodes that are located by my ear canal on where a mans sideburns are located were swollen out of nowhere and then I ate breakfast and felt fine but then maybe 4 or 5 hours later I vomited and my stomach started to feel horrible and I m freaking out now wondering what the hell is wrong with me! So my questions is does this sound like it s more of a bug or something more serious? Like any kind of cancer ?

Welcome to HCM,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

1. lymph node enlargement common in EanT infections. in case of pain fever and increasing swelling, needs antibiotics.


2. Facial lymph nodes are not related to your stomach infection, it could be due to food poisoing or acute gastritis.


3. Take antiemetics and stomach antibiotics as per your primary doctor.

4. You need not to be panic, these are not the symptoms of cancer.
