What Causes Swollen Lymph Node Along With Swelling In Throat?

I just had sinus surgery 3 months ago. I ve been sick for 2 months after the surgery. I have a swollen lymph node that i got antibiotics for and its still there. I feel like my throat is clogged and swollen. I have a bad cough that rattles my chest and a runny stuffy nose. What could this be?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns....

As per your complain it seems the symptoms of runny stuffy nose, cough, swollen lymph nodes and wheezing can be due to conditions like Chronic Upper Respiratory Tract Infection, Recurring Sinus Infection, Bronchitis etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Throat swab culture and chest x ray as well as x ray of sinuses can be diagnostic..
As of now you can take antibiotics like Azithromycin or Levofloxacin, painkiller like Motrin or Aleve, decongestants like Phenylephrine, mucolytics like Ambroxol, warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
Sip on plenty of warm water..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
